Mental Health & Substance Use Kamloops specializes in the treatment of mental health, substance, drug and alcohol abuse.
Interior Health and our partner agencies provide a range of mental health and substance use services for all ages. We strive to ensure that our services are welcoming of all peoples, gender identities, cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds.

This location provides:
  • Harm reduction and abstinence-based counselling services
  • Counselling for concurrent disorders, both mental health and substance use
  • Individual and group services
  • Referrals to residential treatment
  • Offers support to family members affected by substance use
  • Screening, assessment
  • Crisis intervention
  • Group therapy and peer support
  • Seniors mental health
  • Eating disorders
  • Multi-Cultural; Indigenous Specific Counsellor

    Wait times for general MHSU will vary depending on service requested. Please refer clients in Barrier, Clearwater, Chase, Logan Lake, Merritt, Ashcroft/Clinton, Lillooet, Lytton, to their local MHSU Centre.

    Individuals can access these services by coming to 235 Lansdowne Street directly or by calling: 250-377-6500. Hours available: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
