Mental Health & Substance Use - Kootenay Boundary

Provided by Interior Health

Provides a range of services for youth and adults with problematic substance use (addictions) concerns and mental health issues.
Interior Health and our partner agencies provide a range of mental health and substance use services for all ages. We strive to ensure that our services are welcoming of all peoples, gender identities, cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds.

These services include:
  • Prevention programs for all ages
  • Counselling & support
  • Education services
  • Opioid agonist treatment (OAT)
  • Withdrawal management
  • Day and residential treatment
  • Supportive housing

Mental Health Services include but are not limited to youth and adult community support services, counselling services, early psychosis intervention (EPI), eating disorders, intake, urgent response, MHSU emergency services and seniors' mental health.
